HH the Dalai Lama will offer the following public events from 21 to 27 July 2007 in Hamburg:

• Weekend 21/22 July 2007: Learning peace - The practice of non-violence
• Sunday afternoon, July 22, 2007: Public Talk on the topic "Compassion in a Globalized World". Purchase tickets.
• Mo-Fr 23 to 27 July 2007: Buddhist philosophy and practice. Comments on the "400 Verses" of the Indian Master Aryadeva - There are sufficient tickets available. You can also book day-passes now.

On July 27th 2007 H.H. the Dalai Lama will give an initiation in Manjusri, the buddha of wisdom. This buddhist ritual conduces to the develpoment of wisdom. During the ritual the Dalai Lama will also give buddhist refuge and layperson vows.

Those wishing to attend will have to purchase a ticket. The funds will be used to finance the event. The intention is to break even, without achieving a surplus. Should there still result a positive balance after paying all the costs due to more participants, it will be donated to charity by His Holiness.

Day passes will only be available at the booking office for the same day. Advance sales will only be possible for multi-day passes.

The Dalai Lama will speak Tibetan; interpretation into German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Vietnamese will be provided.
